Sierra Club Rally - Support Clean Water in Oklahoma November 15-16You Can make a difference in the fight for clean water. The Oklahoma Chapter of the the Sierra Club will host a rally in Oklahoma City for persons who attend an EPA meeting (listening session) about TMDLs (Clean Water Act issues) on November 15 &16. The EPA is considering delaying and weakening key regulations needed to protect water quality (TMDL rules) and the EPA listening session is to get public comments. Sierra Club has reserved a conference room next to the EPA meeting room so we can all rally there before the EPA meeting. The pre-meeting rally will provide you with the opportunity to meet others concerned about water quality in Oklahoma and get information to help you understand the issues. Food and beverages will also be provided at the rally. Sierra Club will also be providing updated information and guidelines for commenting - contact Jeannine, the state-wide organizer, your group Chair, or explore this website.
